Skopje & Zilina Startup City Guide

Our Startup City Guide family continuously grows and we’re very proud of it. This week our family even grew 2 new members: Skopje & Zilina.

Although you may not have heard much about these two beautiful cities, this is no reason to underestimate them. Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, and Zilina, a city located in the north-west of Slovakia, are both on the rise. With a growing startup community and lots of IT talent both of them are worth a deeper look. Our guides will walk you through the startup scene & community, co-working places, funding opportunities and will also explain what to consider. So make sure you don’t miss them in case you want to found your startup in one of these cities!

StartUs Presents

Interviews are becoming a more and more important part of our magazine, which is why we don’t want to hide our newest editions from you.

We spoke to Razvan Burz, the voice behind Burzcast, a podcast focused on technology and self-improvement. The Romanian entrepreneur is present on the vast majority of podcast networks and not only talks himself but also invites fellow start-uppers and other inspiring people.
Tourgent CEO Matija explained how the business management software helps bus charter companies organize their business, save time and improve profitability. Oh, and he also revealed what drives their team.
The third startup we interviewed this week was BuyAndHelp, a platform that uses affiliate marketing to raise money for social causes and NGOs. The Romanian founders talk about the motivation behind their social business and how they’re going to make an impact.

In our interview Viktor Mikulasek, CEO of Launcher, talks about innovative startups on their way to become real companies, his background in IT and also discloses his advice for young startups and what he likes to do in his spare time. Don’t miss it!

StartUs Connect: Cluj 2.0 & Social Media Workout
