Articles You’ll Enjoy Reading

You may have noticed that the number of our hub reports increases continuously. This week we even published three of them – two giving insights to the UK, one that can be applied throughout European countries. Our UK hub reporters Dean Jacobs and Alexandra Kireeva explain how and where to find investment opportunities for EdTech startups & give an overview of the gender gap thematic, letting us know why we still have to go a long way to solve the issue. Nadiia Kerymova dived into the topic of Service Design Thinking which resulted in a whole series of articles. The first one is Marketing vs. Design Thinking – find out if these two are really that different after all!

For more general business issues we also help you differentiate the good, the bad & the ugly startup accelerators. Learn which is which in order to make the best choice for your company.
Another important matter for turning your startup into a successful business are customers. Here’s what you need to know about them to satisfy them & also keep them coming back for more!

Hub Reporters

After co-authoring the Startup City Guide for Riga, our two new hub reporters decided to keep our community updated about their city. Meet our foxy new team members:

  • Inese Murniece describes herself as a professional day dreamer who loves the startup community and creative industries. She currently is active at TechHub Riga, where she’s responsible for the in’s and out’s of communication.
  • Davis Suneps manages events for (young) entrepreneurs at the Business Incubator by the University in Latvia. He works with startups everyday, runs his own startup carpooling and likes to interact with like-minded people.

You want to become a hub reporter yourself? Then what are you waiting for – take your chance!
