Lausanne & Vilnius Startup City Guide

Finally we’ve got the first startup hub of Swiss covered! Lausanne made it into our Startup City Guide family and we’re very glad we can give you insight into this beautiful and prosperous city. Lausanne is located in the west of Switzerland and, you guessed it, has all the traits you’d expect from a startup hub. Learn more about startups & business possibilities, events, finances and co-workings here!

The second interesting city to found we present this week is Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. Not only Europe’s fastest internet connection can be found there, but also the fastest growing startup ecosystem – Vilnius is the place to be for founders who want to get the experience of an extraordinary city with great opportunities to found!

We’d be happy if you want to introduce your city to our startup community! How? Just get in touch now!

StartUs Presents

Week 36 has brought three brand new startup and one investor interview.

The first one we featured was continuousPHP, a service to test, package and deploy PHP apps and websites. With multiple years of experience in this industry, this startup figured out best practices for the complete life-cycle of software development.
BatSuite, a wearable device, that helps blind people feel their surroundings, translates echo sonar into vibrations and sound. Sounds awesome, right? Find out what else they can do improve mobility!
Next up is Pribe, an app which is basically a one stop solution for event organizers – you can create never-ending events through engagement. A tool every event manager should check out!

Our investor of this week is Aleksander Tonnison – an Estonian VC who doesn’t like to do things in parallel,  but rather believes you should put your focus on one project at a time. Disagree? The interview will give you insight why he might actually be right, which trends he sees coming and what advice he has for you.

You also want to tell your story? Great, all you need to do is to request an interview!
