Describe Pribe in 50 words or less.

Pribe is a one stop solution for event organizers who want to boost their events engagement and make them never end. We do never-ending events.

With ferocious competition and a booming trend to build new companies: How do you make sure you don’t get lost in the shuffle?

We do things differently and our main goal is to challenge the current state of our business. Even though we make sure our products are awesome, we are strongly focused on customer service from day 0 and we share our knowledge with them – because sharing is caring. Speaking about the products, everything we do, we make it smart. Every piece of technology is meant to be helpful to people but nowadays, we see many apps and tolls which are the opposite of this mission.

What do you look for in team members?

Passion, drive and common values. As a company we have defined the core values we follow and the same is expected from every team member. We support diversity as well, so we are open to every nationality, religion and sex orientation. A great plus for every member is to be customer-oriented and willing to go the extra mile.

Why would a talent join your team?

Real talents rise to challenges and that’s what we do and offer. Our goal is to become global and stay agile. Did I mention that we are not a team? We are family. We care about each other and we trust each other. Besides those personal characteristics, every team member should be willing to learn and share.

What was your most memorable moment so far?

The moment when after hundreds of nos, failures and obstacles came the first yes. Maybe it was a kind of mindset reset, but since then we’ve only seen yeses and people who drive us forward. Every entrepreneur knows that feeling and it’s something that you never forget. But I can’t really tell you that it was the most memorable moment, because every day is special and every day brings new moments which stay in our minds.

What advice would you give fellow founders for their startup?

If you really love what you do and you really mean it, never give up no matter what happens. Life is hard but business is harder. Don’t let anybody stop you or steal your dreams. There are many haters and as we all know, haters gonna hate. All you have to do is focus on your dream and make it happen. If you can imagine it, you can do it!

Oh, and one last advice: never ask friends or family for any kind of feedback. The only relevant feedback is from people who don’t know you.

Why did you decide to pursue your own dreams rather than someone else’s?

I’m a horrible employee and I could not stay at work where someone else forces me to do things I consider to be stupid. I’m a person who always dreams and wants to make changes. I’m not saying that other people’s dreams are worse than mine. Everyone sees the world from a different perspective and I just want to show the world from my point of view and make some changes.

7 years from now: How did your startup change the world?

Events are not boring occasions any more. People get what they expect and organizers do more high quality events. No waste of potential and 100% of engagement during events. Attendees are not passive anymore and thanks to this change, they are exposed to high quality content.

The goal we want to reach is to be the tool of choice for every conference that wants to win the fight against low engagement, negative ROI and missing popularity.

In what ways do you measure your success and how do you make sure you don’t lose track?

Personally, my success is measured by the number of happy clients who reach out to us every time they want to get the best products and services. On the other hand, the success of the business is measured by revenue and the number of paying clients. But even though we measure revenue, the happiness of our clients keeps us on track.

Describe your typical working day from coming to the office to leaving it.

There is nothing like a typical day in the life of an entrepreneur. Every team member is doing something different besides Pribe as we currently have no funds, which slows us down. For example, I work in IT support for a huge company, Ivan, the co-founder, is a PhD student and also our CTO, and our developers are students with other projects to make a living. But most importantly, we believe in our product and we are willing to do anything to survive.

Already pivoted? Did customers use the platform for event engagement like you imagined it in the beginning?

Yes. At the beginning we were just a pure interaction platform for Q&A and polls with Twitter integration. After the feedback we’ve received from our clients we decided to pivot this product. That was not the only change in the company we made. We’ve changed the brand and target. Since this change, Evnt.ee is known as Pribe.
