We are Austria’s first comparsion calculator for relocation companies with instant results!

Why did you decide to pursue your own dreams rather than someone else’s?

I have done that very sucessfully with my last company, so I know what a great feeling this can be. Sometimes you struggle with a problem for a long time, but in the end it all turns out right. But that cannot be a permantent solution and that’s the crucial point. I wanted to help people to avoid this problem, when they are searching for the right relocation service.

7 years from now: How did your startup change the world?

Leichtgemacht ist helping people all across Europe to easily find the right relocation service in their area.

In what ways do you measure your success and how do you make sure you don’t lose track?

The important thing for success is to stay on top and appreciating every step of your progress.

Describe your typical working day from coming to the office to leaving it.

It’s quite different. Most of my tasks I complete in a co-working space or from my home office. Leichtgemacht is bootstrapped, which also means, that we sometimes have to do other jobs too. Everyday is a new challenge!

Bootstrapped or financed: What fuels your startup now and what will in the future?

As mentioned above we are bootstrapped. Our business model is very cost effective and scalable, meaning we have no need to seek for an investment at the moment, but we are open for the right partner, if the opportunity arises.

What were the biggest challenges you faced building your startup?

It was definitely to share the idea with others at the beginning. After that it was hard to decide what kind of organization we want to found.

With ferocious competition and a booming trend to build new companies: How do you make sure you don’t get lost in the shuffle?

Our business model is very cost effective and scalable and that’s the crucial point. We want to learn as much as we can and gain experience in Austria to be prepared for the next steps in Europe (Switzerland, Germany,..).

What do you look for in team members?

Everybody who shares our vision and passion is welcome.

Why would a talent join your team?

It’s an exciting marktet in which we are working now. The digitization is rising in the relocation market as well, and we want to be the leaders of this movement.

What was your most memorable moment so far?

Our successful betalaunch on the 2nd of February this year!

What advice would you give fellow founders for their startup?

Don’t be afraid to tell other entrepreneurs about your idea or vision, because they will give you crucial feedback. Before you develop an idea, ask your potenial customers if there’s a need for it. You can’t release the perfect solution for everything, it’s all about the MVP!
