Published on:

In its fourth year, Gründen in Wien invites students, startup enthusiasts, and founders-to-be to take part in a unique event, showing how to successfully realize business ideas.

140 partner companies and 100 events at 45 different locations set Gründen in Wien (or Founding in Vienna), the biggest event for home startups, up for a great day. Young companies, coworking spaces, hubs, initiatives, university establishments, and funding agencies open their doors once again to offer a full 14 hours of program. From 8 am, interested parties can join workshops, open houses, consulting, networking events, walk & talks as well as a job fair.

Job Fair: Encouraging Young Talents To Thrive

The job fair definitely is one of Gründen in Wien’s highlights. Starting from 5 pm, 40 of Austria’s finest startups and companies will present themselves and the opportunities they offer to young talents. Exhibitors include Finabro, getbyrd, and ready2order, the full list of participants is available online. Students and young talents interested in finding out what it is like to work at a startup, ready to jump-start their career in a unique environment, and ready to thrive are invited to bring their CV as the first interviews will already take place on site.

Participants of the job fair shouldn’t miss the lucky chance to network and discover career opportunities at exciting startups & young companies! The job fair will take place in the 6th district at the Atelierhaus der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, formerly Semperdepot (Lehargasse 6-8, 1060 Vienna).

Discovering The Entrepreneurial Vienna

Through opening their doors, the startups and other players in the ecosystem allow startup enthusiasts & founders-to-be an insight into Vienna’s startup community – what it is all about, what drives it and where it is going. 140 partner companies want to show what they have in store for the local startup scene and its young talents. Gerhard Hirczi, Managing Director at the Vienna Business Agency, said, “Opening doors and coming together as one community is something you don’t encounter on an everyday basis. This is what makes Gründen in Wien so special and counts as an impressive sign for the potential and opportunities young founders find in Vienna.”
