StartUs Connect 4.0: Vienna Edition

What happened in the Viennese startup scene

On June 4th we hosted our 4th event in Vienna: StartUs Connect 4.0. We invited startup enthusiasts, founders and mentors to Stockwerk Coworking to get to know each other, exchange ideas and network.

David R. Prasser, the founder of StartUs, welcomed all our guests and introduced the four mentors of the evening to the crowd:

• Andreas Chrastka (Deputy General Manager of I2B Businessplan-Wettbewerb) who talked about an online tool where you can help to set up your business plan and also get free expert feedback on it.
• Christoph Richter (Co-founder of zoomsquare.com) who told the story of founding his own startup and shared insightful experiences.
• Daniel Horak (Managing Partner Sales & Marketing at CONDA) who explained the services and process of the crowd investing platform.
• Gregor Posch (Startup Services Consultant at Wirtschaftsagentur Wien) who noted what the Vienna business agency has to offer startups, especially in terms of funding.

Moreover, this time we invited our startup friends from the active neighbouring hub Bratislava, who will be hosting their own event soon. It was a great and energetic atmosphere although it was almost 30°C degrees outside.
