Most of the winning scaleups have gone on to become internationally successful companies. 2019’s top 10 European scaleups were Oculavis, Wonderflow, R3, QuoScient, Mecuris, SidekickHealth, CerbAir, LORIOT, Zelros, and Minna Technologies.

Here’s what they had to say about the EIT Digital Challenge:

“Winning the EIT Digital Challenge helped us seize a couple of major deals for which we were waiting for the clients’ final decisions. In less than 6 months, EIT Digital has already proved to provide us huge media coverage, some welcome financial support as well as numerous sales opportunities in Europe for which we are very grateful,” says Lucas Le Bell, CEO and Co-Founder of CerbAir, who was awarded in 2019 and joined the EIT Digital Accelerator shortly after.

Zelros joined the EIT Digital Accelerator scaleup program in November 2019, after winning the EIT Digital Challenge 2019 in the category Digital Finance. The company highly appreciated international visibility across Europe and being featured on Times Square along with other EIT Digital Challenge winners. “EIT Digital’s communication initiatives helped us gain more visibility in our target markets in Europe, and we look forward to the outcome of our joint business development efforts,” says Christophe Bourguignat, CEO of Zelros.
