Belfast’s Ignite NI Accelerator Opens Applications For Europe’s Tech Startups

The 12 week Ignite NI Accelerator program is offering companies from around the world the opportunity to grow their startup in Belfast’s thriving tech community. Successful applicants will benefit from a €17,000 loan, with an additional €5,700 available to any companies taking part from outside the UK.

The program is designed to support established technology companies that have already launched and now need help scaling and raising further investment.

Accelerator Program Starts 26th March

The program also includes 9 months’ free co-working space at the Ormeau Baths tech hub and access to some of the best mentoring and practical advice on offer from startup experts and investors.

The deadline for applications to the Ignite NI Accelerator is 14th February 2018, with the program running for 12 weeks from 26th March.

Tristan Watson, managing director of Ignite and Peter Edgar, program manager at Ignite NI, have called on startups from around Europe to come and be part of Belfast’s burgeoning tech scene.

The Ignite NI Accelerator offers companies the option to grow their startup in a tech-focused environment, supported by creative and ambitious thinkers,” said Tristan.
