StartUs Connect Budapest – Again!

Since a few months have already passed since our last Budapest Edition we realized it’s about time to bring the event back to the Hungarian startup scene. The event, co-organized by StartUs Community Ambassador Steve Sudy (co-founder & CMO of laborom) and local incubator Design Terminal will take place on February 12th.

Who, What, Why?

StartUs‘ mission is to connect the European startup community – in this case especially Vienna and Budapest. To spark interesting and inspirational conversations we’ve invited three speakers covering three topics:

• Peter Löschl, Senior Advisor at Austrian Business Agency, will hold a keynote on opportunities for Hungarian startups in Austria (e.g. founding, funding & finding partners).
• Imre Hild, Global Managing Partner at Global Platforms, will cover startup financing & give insights to a successful funding process.
• Levante Szasz, co-founder & CEO of laborom, will share his experience of building a team consisting of 12 professionals and the importance of a complementary skill set.

The event will be held in English and take place at Design Terminal, where the last event was held as well. You can find some impressions of 2015’s event here to get a thrill of anticipation.

This event will bring exciting speakers, mentors, and topics to explore to Budapest. Calling all founders, startup enthusiasts, investors, mentors and everyone in between to join us for an evening of innovation, interest, networking, and – of course – fun. Don’t miss it!
