StartUs Connect Tirana 1.0

This holiday season the responsibles from Garazh aimed to bring an early present to the Albanian startup community. They gathered three of the most appreciated characters of the Albanian startup scene and announced StartUs Connect Tirana 1.0. StartUs, the Austrian based startup career network is now present in more than 45 cities throughout Europe and has already implemented this event format in many other cities like Vienna, Rotterdam, Bratislava, Budapest and many more.

The format of Tirana’s event was devoted to the aspects of startup financing, mentoring and stories of success. 3 series of 7 minute talks guiding through 7 presentation slides, followed by 7 minutes of Q&A. Facilitated by Ergest Nako who introduced StartUs and Garazh,

• Endri Mataj of Startup Grind Tirana spoke about Startup Mentoring,
• Shkëlzen Marku, co-founder and Director of Yunus Social Business Balkans spoke about Startup Financing and
• Valer Pinderi, founder Dyqan Taxi told his Startup Story of Success.

Following the Q&A session, the networking and more informal part of the event was all accompanied by the music of DJ El Cardinal.
