Fintech FUSION: Accelerate Your Growth By Entering One Of The World’s Top 3 Financial Hubs

Published on:

Want to accelerate growth and work in of the top financial hubs in the world? Find out what Geneva based accelerator Fintech FUSION has to offer & apply until June 12th!

One year ago, Fintech FUSION became the first ever fintech acceleration program to take place in Switzerland. Building on the experience gained from its first batch, the Geneva-based accelerator opened its second application process to keep on fusing the best of Switzerland with the most promising fintech talents from all over the world.

Fintech FUSION: Startup Acceleration On The Rise

It all started about one year ago when Fintech FUSION launched its first application process, which eventually led to the selection of 10 very talented startups. Unlike most of the worldwide accelerators, FUSION offers a 12-months equity-free acceleration program, divided in 3 phases (Customer Discovery, Customer Validation, Growth).

The first 4 months in Geneva are very intensive and push the participants out of their comfort zone in order to achieve what they are looking for: acceleration. Thanks to its multi-sector and multi-partner approach, startups can leverage a strong network of stakeholders (corporate partners like Temenos, Notz Stucki, Swisscard and BNP Paribas; resource partners like CapCo or Kudelski Security, academic partners such as EPFL and a wide range of fintech executives and entrepreneurs acting as mentors).

Through their expertise, resources and coaching FUSION’s partners bring a huge added-value to the process. Since Switzerland is a world leader in wealth management, asset management, cybersecurity, insurance and commodities trading, the accelerator has a special interest in B2B startups operating in these sectors, but also in data privacy, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, mobile and peer-to-peer platforms.

For Startups With A Prototype

Building on its successful first cohort of startups, Fintech FUSION will keep offering:

#1 Market Access

Being in Switzerland and working hand-in-hand with corporate partners gives access to the local market and its potential clients and distributors. Moreover, Fintech FUSION facilitates access to a network of national and international investors.

#2 Working Conditions

FUSION offices are a working environment conducive to creative thinking, to getting things done and to having fun. Over 650 square metres of premium city centre space, largely open plan but with plenty of break-out areas for brainstorming, chill out zones, recreational areas – all with state-of-art IT infrastructure.

#3 Mentoring

Pair the startups with two mentors. They help refine the strategy, provide the insights to ensure the products meet market needs, assist in developing a viable operating plan and make introductions to their network to give a head start.
